HLC Approves Disaster Mitigation and Capacity Building Projects for States.

National

The High-Level Committee (HLC) has approved several disaster mitigation and capacity building projects aimed at enhancing the resilience of states. These projects will focus on improving infrastructure, developing early warning systems, and increasing community preparedness to better handle natural disasters. The approval is part of a broader effort to strengthen disaster management frameworks across the country. By investing in these initiatives, the government aims to reduce the impact of future disasters and ensure quicker recovery and response times. The projects are expected to provide significant benefits to vulnerable regions and support long-term disaster resilience.

The projects will enhance state-level disaster response capabilities and infrastructure resilience to withstand extreme weather events.

Funding will support training programs for local officials and community groups to improve emergency preparedness and management.
