DOT's NTIPRIT and WIMTDC Merged into NCA Under Dr. Neeraj Mittal.

The Department of Telecommunications (DOT) has merged the National Telecommunications Institute for Policy Research, Innovation, and Training (NTIPRIT) and the Wireless Monitoring and Training Development Centre (WIMTDC) into the newly established National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA). This move is aimed at streamlining efforts in cybersecurity and telecommunications policy. Dr. Neeraj Mittal will lead the NCA, focusing on enhancing research, innovation, and training. The merger is expected to improve coordination between departments, ensure efficient policy implementation, and strengthen India’s cybersecurity and telecommunication infrastructure.


      The NCA aims to unify cybersecurity and telecom policy efforts under one authority for better efficiency.

      Dr. Neeraj Mittal’s leadership will focus on advancing training programs and innovative solutions in cybersecurity.
