The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) approves appointment of Sandeep Batra as ICICI Prudential Board chairman.

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has approved the appointment of Sandeep Batra, as Chairman of the Board of Directors of ICICI Prudential, the company said on Thursday.Batra has been associated with ICICI group since September 2000 and is currently an Executive Director on the Board of ICICI Bank since July 2018, incharge of Corporate Centre.
The appointment of Batra will be effective from June 30, 2024, the company said.
Batra has also served as Executive Director, CFO at ICICI Prudential life and Group Compliance officer at ICICI Bank.
