In today’s fast-paced world, individuals are pushing themselves harder than ever to pursue their dreams and make a positive impact, regardless of their background or circumstances. This determination is evident not only in bustling cities but also in remote villages, where people are striving to overcome obstacles and create meaningful change. In an inspiring story, Arti, an 18-year-old e-rickshaw driver from a small village in Uttar Pradesh, received the prestigious Amal Clooney Women’s Empowerment Award in London earlier this week, followed by a meeting with King Charles III.

For the reception at Buckingham Palace, Arti arrived in a pink rickshaw, showing it as an eco-friendly way to travel and a symbol of a larger movement.

She also revealed that he paid attention to her speaking about her love for driving her e-rickshaw, which, she claimed, “does not run on polluting diesel or petrol but one that I charge at home every night.”
