UNDP Administrator Appoints Alain W. Noudéhou as the new Executive Director of the UN Multi– Partner Trust Fund Office (MPTFO).

United Nations Development Programme Administrator Achim Steiner announced today the appointment of of Alain Noudéhou of Benin as the new Executive Director of the UN Multi – Partner Trust Fund Office (MPTFO).Mr. Noudéhou brings to the position extensive experience in international development and humanitarian affairs. Most recently, he has been serving as Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary General in the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) and UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Mali.


      Appointment Announcement: Alain Noudéhou of Benin has been appointed as the new Executive Director of the UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office (MPTFO) by UNDP Administrator Achim Steiner.

      Experience in Development and Humanitarian Affairs: Noudéhou brings extensive experience in international development and humanitarian affairs to his new role, having served in various capacities including Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary General in Mali.

      Previous Roles: Prior to his appointment, Noudéhou served as the UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Mali, showcasing his leadership in complex humanitarian and development contexts.
