Kadet Defence Systems (KDS) has launched India’s first Loitering Aerial Munitions (LAM) for the Indian Armed Forces. Under a unique Development cum Production Partner (DCPP) model with the Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO), KDS has unveiled a game-changing array of cutting-edge technologies aimed at enhancing the operational efficacy of the Indian armed forces. These LAM systems encompass cutting-edge technologies, including Canister Aerial Loitering Munition (CALM), Combat UAVs with stand-off capabilities, and Tactical VTOL UAVs. Kadet has secured a contract to deliver over 50 LAM systems by year-end, meeting the operational requirements of the Indian armed forces. These indigenous LAMs, designed and manufactured entirely in India, boast adaptability to various terrains and altitudes, with over 90 per cent of components domestically sourced.

Kadet plans to scale up production to deliver approximately 5,000 systems within the next 2–3 years to meet the soaring demand.
