MOUs and Agreement

Tata Steel Special Economic Zone Limited (TSSEZL) and Hygenco signed a MoU to establish a green hydrogen and green ammonia project at TSSEZL's Gopalpur Industrial Park in Odisha. Hygenco, known for its low-cost green hydrogen production, plans to build its new facility in Ganjam district, where it will manufacture green hydrogen, green ammonia, and related products. The facility is projected to have an annual production capacity of 1 million tonnes, with the initial phase expected to be operational by December 2026. The total committed capacity of green hydrogen and green ammonia production at the industrial park now stands at approximately 2.6 million tonnes per annum. This solidifies Gopalpur Industrial Park as a hub for green hydrogen and ammonia in India.
