Two Indian students' teams from the New Delhi area and Mumbai have won awards from the NASA' 30th Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC) 2024. The KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi-NCR has won the award in the "Crash and Burn" category of the annual Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC) award, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced. The Kanakia International School from Mumbai was given the "Rookie of the Year" award. Parish Episcopal School from Dallas won first place in the high school division, while the University of Alabama in Huntsville secured the college/university title. The concluding event of the 30th Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC) took place on April 19 and April 20 at the U.S Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, near NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center.
