10 Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) launched a 'Global Collaborative Co-Financing Platform' that will enable them to channel additional capital for development scale and impact. During the 2024 IMF and World Bank Spring meetings in Washington D.C, 10 MDBs introduced the Global Collaborative Co-Financing platform. Hosted by the World Bank, this secure platform allows registered co-financiers to share project pipelines conveniently. Providing a space for diverse stakeholders, this forum facilitates discussions on co-financing opportunities, sharing of best practices, and addressing common challenges. The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and World Bank (WB), along with the African Development Bank (AfDB), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), European Investment Bank (EIB), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and New Development Bank (NDB) are joining at this initial stage to enhance collaboration.
