World Rotaract Day is annually observed across the globe on 13 March to recognise and acknowledge the services provided by the Rotaractors, and members of Rotaract clubs across the world. It celebrates the establishment of the first roatry organisation on in 1968 at North Carolina, USA. The day is celebrated together with a week-long program of World Rotaract Week. The Rotary Club of Calcutta became the first Rotary club chartered in India on 1 January 1920. The Day also offers an opportunity to raise awareness about the work that Rotaract clubs are doing around the world.


      World Rotaract week 2024 is being observed from 11 to 17 March.
