India Men's Cricket team won the Anthony de Mello Trophy 2024 by defeating England in the five-match test series for 4-1 held from 25th January to 9th March 2024. India posted a mammoth win over England at Dharamshala by an innings and 64 runs in the fifth and final Test of the series against England to close out a convincing 4-1 series win. Anthony de Mello was a former Indian cricket administrator and one of the founding members of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The test series between India and England played in India was named after him.

India stand atop the ICC World Test Championships for the 2023-25 cycle with 74 points to their name in 9 games played thus far.

The trophy was instituted in 1951, when England toured India for a five-match series.
