Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank Invests 58.4 Million in India’s Largest Renewable Energy InvIT!

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has recently injected INR 4.86 billion (approximately USD 58.4 million) into India’s largest renewable energy Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT). Known as Sustainable Energy Infra Trust (SEIT), the InvIT is backed by eight operational solar power generation assets with a total capacity of 1.54 gigawatts-peak, strategically positioned across India.
SEIT has successfully garnered support from AIIB to fortify the development of InvITs as a prominent infrastructure asset class in the Indian market.
