Iran's IRGC NeQM 100 satellite carrier launched by Soraya Satellite!

The Soraya satellite was manufactured by the Iranian Space Research Center, the semiofficial Fars news agency reported. Additionally, the IRGC successfully test-launched the Qaem-100 satellite carrier in November 2022, according to the official Islamic Republic News Agency. Iran has successfully launched its Sorayya satellite into orbit, in a move likely to increase Western concerns about Tehran's nuclear ambitions.


      The satellite was launched from the IRGC's mobile launch pad on the outskirts of Shahrui, Iran.

      Soraya is a research satellite weighing approximately 50 kilograms (110 lb).

      It is equipped with a variety of scientific instruments that are used to study weather patterns, Earth's resources, etc. It will be used to collect data on various aspects of space including the environment.
