Important Days

National Security Day (NSD) or Rashtriya Suraksha Diwas, is annually observed on March 4 in India to honours the Indian security forces. The purpose of the day is to express gratitude to our security forces, which include the police, paramilitary, guards, commandos, army officers, and other forces involved in maintaining our country’s peace and security. The idea of National Security Day was launched in 1972. On March 4, 1966, the Ministry of Labour established the Safety Council to promote a long-term safety, health, and environmental movement.
