World Wildlife Day (WWD) is celebrated every year on 3 March to raise awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation and the need to protect endangered species. The theme of World Wildlife Day 2024 is 'Connecting People and Planet: Exploring Digital Innovation in Wildlife Conservation'. On 20 December 2013, the United Nations General Assembly declared March 3 as the United Nations World Wildlife Day.


      WWF EIACP PC-RP, under Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change celebrated World Wildlife Day 2024, by organisingvarious activities at Okhla Bird Sanctuary, one of the places blessed with a rich biodiversity focusing Mission LiFE.
