Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Jammu and Kashmir and unveiled multiple development initiatives totalling over ₹32,000 crore, spanning various sectors such as education, railways, aviation, and roads. These projects encompass diverse areas like health, education, transportation, aviation, petroleum, and civic infrastructure. During the event, PM Modi hand over appointment letters to approximately 1500 newly recruited government employees from Jammu and Kashmir. Furthermore, the Prime Minister engaged with beneficiaries of various government schemes as part of the 'Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu' program. Additionally, PM Modi inaugurated, dedicated to the nation, and laid the foundation stones for numerous projects valued at around ₹13,375 crore, aimed at enhancing education and skilling infrastructure nationwide. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the campuses of three Indian Institutes of Management, in Jammu, Bodh Gaya and Visakhapatnam, and laid the foundation stone of several projects, including permanent campuses for three IITs, 20 Kendriya Vidyalayas and 13 Navodaya schools.


      The prime minister dedicated, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of the campuses and buildings at a public function at the Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu.

      Record number of schools, colleges, universities established in India in last 10 years; in JK alone, 50 new degree colleges set up.

      Common people of J-K got assurance of social justice mentioned in the Constitution for the first time after the abrogation of Art 370.
