Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and State Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramaraka presented the Vote on Account Budget for the year 2024-25 with an outlay Rs2,75,891 crore in the State Legislative Assembly. This includes the Revenue expenditure is Rs201,178 crore and the Capital expenditure is Rs29,669 crore. The Finance Minister proposed 53,196 crore rupees in the Budget for the implementation of six guarantees, including cooking gas cylinders at 500 rupees, Indiramma House and 200 units of free power among others. The provision of additional funds will be made as required, once a complete assessment is made about the schemes. The government is committed to implementing Rythu Bharosa and modalities are being worked to enhance Rythu Bandhu to 15000 rupees annually from the current 10000 rupees but only to the eligible farmers. The Government is committed to improving the lives of citizens and prioritizing the welfare of the disadvantaged.


      The state economic growth rate shown a downward trend from 14.7 percent to 11.3 percent over the previous year.

      However, per capita income has gone up to 3.34 lakh rupees from the 3.1 lakh rupees of the previous year.
