The Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) has released the rankings of business schools in 2024. The institutions are evaluated on seven parameters and ranked by Maction Consulting under the Federation for World Academics (FWA). More than 300 management institutions are evaluated, out of which, 50 government and 160 private management institutions are ranked. The IIRF rankings 2024 include six categories consisting of the Overall Ranking of Government and Private Institutions, the Top 50 Business Schools Under University Program, the Top 50 Business Schools for Research, the Top 50 Schools of Eminence for Employability and the Top 20 Emerging Business Schools. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) is the top-ranked MBA college in India. IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Kozhikode are some of the top-ranked IIMs in India. IIM Ahmedabad’s score also placed it 32.92 index points ahead of Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) in Jamshedpur, which ranked as India’s top private graduate business school for the second straight year. XLRI sneaked past the Management Development Institute Gurgaon among privates by an even thinner 2.59 index points.


      CAT is the most accepting entrance exam in top IIMs in India.

      As per NIRF ranking 2023, IIM-Ahmedabad Ranked First in Government Colleges Category.

      That fits a pattern between these private schools, with their gap further diminishing from 5.41 points (2023) and 10.95 points (2022).
