Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel unveiled the book "Smritivan: An Unparalleled Apotheosis of Commemoration to 2001 Victims of Gujarat Earthquake" in Gandhinagar. The coffee table book, published by the Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority (GSDMA), just before the 23rd anniversary of the Kutch earthquake, narrates the tale of the transformation of Bhujia Dungar following the 2001 earthquake. It also captures the developmental journey of Gujarat under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The book showcases the achievements of Smritivan on Bhujia Dungar, evolving from barren land into the world's largest Miyawaki Forest with a plantation of five and a half lakh trees.

The coffee table book chronicles the reconstruction and redevelopment of the Kutch region, in vivid detail, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

The book launch was attended by Additional Chief Secretary to CM Shri Pankaj Joshi, Additional Chief Secretary of Revenue Department Shri Manoj Kumar Das, CEO of GSDMA Shri Anupam Anand, along with officials of GSDMA and Smritivan Memorial.
