The Australian Open 2024 concluded on January 28, with Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka winning the men’s and women’s singles titles, respectively. It was the first-ever Grand Slam title for Sinner and second for Sabalenka, who has now won two back-to-back Australian Open titles. Sinner became the second Italian in the Open Era to win a Grand Slam. At the age of 22, he also became the third youngest since 1988 after Djokovic and Jim Courrier to win the prestigious hard court major. Sinner also became the first champion at Melbourne Park outside the Big 3 since 2014.


      The 2024 Australian Open was a Grand Slam level tennis tournament held at Melbourne Park, from 14–28 January 2024.

      It was the 112th edition of the Australian Open, the 56th in the Open Era, and the first major of the year.
