Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel unveils the spire of Indian Naval Warship 'Surat'

In Surat, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel and Navy Chief Admiral R. The spire of warship 'Surat' was unveiled in the presence of Harikumar. The Indian Navy has paid tribute to the ancient shipbuilding heritage of Surat by naming the insignia of its state-of-the-art fourth missile destroyer 'Surat'. During the unveiling ceremony of the iconic and majestic 'Surat Warship Crest', the CM highlighted that the next four generation missile destroyers have been developed as part of Project-B, the latest warship of the Indian Navy. Among them, 'Surat' has been officially designated as the fourth warship, which is a proud moment for the entire state. Ensuring a strong sense of responsibility for the security of the country and advancement of the blue economy is a fundamental duty for any armed force, especially the Navy. During the program, Navy Chief Admiral R. Harikumar, along with senior Navy officials, presented a model of the Surat warship to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister also signed the memorial pillar of the Navy.
