Union Minister of Labor and Employment, Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Bhupendra Yadav inaugurated the 71st Foundation Day in Bharatam, New Delhi in a virtual mood. Provident Fund Award 2023 was given for the best performance.

Union Minister for Labor & Employment, Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Bhupendra Yadav inaugurated the 71st Foundation Day of EPFO held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi through virtual mode. Shri Bhupendra Yadav highlighted the development and growth of EPFO over the last few years. He also appreciated 'Nidhi Aapke Nicht', an outreach program organized by each EPFO office at the district level on 27th of every month. Shri Yadav encouraged EPFO to become a hassle free and technology driven organisation. He expressed satisfaction that EPFO is giving 8.15% interest this year and has already deposited interest in more than 24 crore accounts. Minister of State laid the foundation stone of Regional Office Building, Behrampur, Odisha in virtual mode. He inaugurated the Regional Office Building in Tumkur, Karnataka in virtual mode. The Minister of State also inaugurated the new Head Office Building at Kidwai Nagar, New Delhi in virtual mode. ​
