Indian Navy and IISc Bengaluru sign MoU for technical cooperation and joint research

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the Indian Navy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on aviation research and development. “This will promote self-reliance efforts for the Indian Navy, in line with the goals of a self-reliant India,” an IISc press release said. The statement said the MoU provides a formal basis for the Indian Navy to interact with relevant faculty members at IISc and will promote joint research programs in areas of mutual interest. Areas of cooperation will likely include aerospace/aeronautical engineering including design and education technology.
