Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually flagged off Uttarakhand's first semi-high speed Vande Bharat Express train connecting Dehradun with the national capital New Delhi. This will be the sixth Vande Bharat connecting Delhi from different routes. Till now, the national capital is connected with Ajmer, Varanasi, Katra, Bhopal, and Amb Andaura. On the occasion, the Prime Minster also dedicated the newly electrified rail line sections in Uttarakhand. With this, the state now have its entire rail route 100 percent electrified.

      This will be the sixth Vande Bharat connecting Delhi from different routes.

      On the occasion, the Prime Minster also dedicated the newly electrified rail line sections in Uttarakhand.
