Himachal Pradesh CM Launches Shimla Winter Carnival, Aims to Boost Tourism

Akashwani Correspondent reports that The tourist destinations of Himachal Pradesh are fully prepared to welcome tourists and the state government is also leaving no stone unturned to attract visitors. The Winter Carnival is being organized in Shimla till January 5. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu flagged off the cultural parade at the beginning of the carnival today. On this occasion, he said that 30 thousand tourist vehicles have arrived in Himachal Pradesh in the last two days, which is a good sign as the tourism industry is once again on its feet after the disaster.


      In Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated the first-ever ‘Shimla Winter Carnival’ at the historic Ridge today.

      The event started with a cultural parade and the participation of 450 women presenting Mahanati, showcasing the talent of self-help groups and Anganwadi workers.
