Indian Army's aviation unit successfully test fired the new generation rocket and turret ammunition system from the first indigenous combat helicopter, Rudra attack helicopter. The Corps Commander congratulated the aviators for their professionalism and operational preparedness."Rudra designed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to meet the requirements of the Indian Army and Air Force. And is a weaponized version of the developed Advanced Light Helicopter (Dhruv). The 5.8 tonne class multi role helicopter is powered by twin Shakti engines.
