Indian wushu team wins 12 medals in 5th International Pars Wushu Cup in Tehran

The Indian Wushu team won one gold, four silver and seven bronze medals at the 5th International Pars Wushu Cup in Tehran. l. Buddhachandra Singh won the gold medal by defeating Masod Ansari of Iran in the final of 56 kg category. Mukesh Chaudhary lost his final to Asian Games gold medalist Mohsin Sefi, while Rajni Deori lost the final to Sajas Abbasi of Iran. In the last edition, the Indian team had won two silver and three bronze medals at the tournament in Zanjan, Iran. Nineteen teams from 18 countries participated in this championship.
