HP has appointed former Apple executive Ipsita Dasgupta as vice president and managing director of the Indian market.

US PC giant HP today appointed Ipsita Dasgupta as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of HP's Indian market. On the appointment of Ipsita Dasgupta, David McQuarrie, Chief Commercial Officer, HP, said, “India is a key growth region for HP, and I am thrilled to welcome Ipsita to continue our attraction and momentum in this dynamic market. With expertise across a variety of industries, we have great confidence in their ability to hit the ground running and take our business to the next phase of growth. Dasgupta's previous tenure was with Apple as senior director of marketing for Apple Services, based at Apple Headquarters, leading global synergy marketing, external partnership marketing, consumer insights, and market and competitive intelligence for Apple's subscription services.
