Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud receives Harvard Law School's 'Global Leadership Award'

Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud has received the 'Award for Global Leadership', the highest professional honor bestowed by his alma mater, Harvard Law School. The Chief Justice was honored as the recipient of the award in an online ceremony on January 11 this year. The Chief Justice attended Harvard Law School for an in-depth conversation with David Wilkins, professor at Harvard Law School and faculty director of the Center on the Legal Profession. Harvard Law School is also celebrating the 100th anniversary of its graduate law program. The Chief Justice recalled his time at Harvard as an LLM student in 1982–83 and then as an SJD candidate in 1983–1986.
