Jammu and Kashmir topped the KIWG (Khelo India Winter Games) 2023 medal table with 26 golds, 25 silvers and 25 bronze. Maharashtra finished second with 13 gold medals, 8 silvers and 6 bronze.

Jammu and Kashmir topped the KIWG (Khelo India Winter Games) 2023 medal table with 26 golds, 25 silvers and 25 bronze. Maharashtra finished second with 13 gold medals, 8 silvers and 6 bronze. 3rd edition of the Khelo India Winter Games 2023 concluded on February 14, 2023 in Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir. The five-day meet featured over 1,500 athletes from 32 states, Union Territories of India, and other teams competing in 11 sports. At KIWG 2023, medals were awarded in the sport of alpine skiing, curling, bobsleigh, skeleton, snowshoe, Nordic skiing, snowboarding, ski mountaineering, ice skating, ice hockey and bandy. Khelo India Winter Games 2023 was jointly organised by India’s Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council and the Winter Games Association of Jammu and Kashmir. The state or Union Territory with the highest number of gold medals at the end of the meet was declared the winner. Himachal Pradesh in third with 10 gold medals, 14 silver and 7 bronze.
